Cats: State Of The Orange

Cheddar and Nacho are happy, healthy boys. Cheddar is now 15 pounds. No, he's not fat; he's just a big kitty. Nacho is smaller at 11 pounds, and since he has a kitten face, he's probably always going to look like a baby. Not that we mind. They're both our babies.
They have, however, been leaving "gifts" for us around the house.
I know what you're thinking. "But Anna," you object, "they're indoor cats!"
They're leaving us dead cockroaches. Not many, but it's definitely noticeable.
"How do you know it's the cats?"
These cockroaches were tortured. Someone played with these bugs, and it doesn't take CSI: Beersheva to figure out what happened.
(As for why we have cockroaches, every Israeli home deals with cockroaches in the hotter season.)
I suppose it's better than the way we eliminated cockroaches before, which was having a favored slipper to do the job.
Anyway, the kitties. Their gotcha day is approaching, and we plan on celebrating by giving them a treat of tuna-flavored wet food (their favorite). And yesterday, Eyal looked at me, and said:
"You were right. It was good for them to be together. Two cats is better than one."
I couldn't agree more.
